Alliance Loch Modan Guide
Level 15-17

1. After traveling from Stormwind to Ironforge via the Deeprun Tram, get out of the tram and in the Tinkertown section of Ironforge, get the quest Find Bingles from Gnoarn.
   
   
   • Get the Ironforge Flight Path.
     
     
   • Also, go to the Weapon Master (Talk to a guard and ask for the location of the Weapon Master for a pinpoint location) and train proficiency in any weapon skills you can learn. Note that each major city has an unique Weapon Master which can teach you other weapon skills - make sure you visit each one in each major city once in the future.
     
     
   • Head out of Ironforge to Dun Morogh, then east into Loch Modan. (If you already have the Thelsamar Flight point in Loch Modan, then just fly there instead.)
     

1. At the south tower, get In Defense of the King's Lands and The Trogg Threat.
   
   
2. Head east into Stonesplinter Valley. Kill 10 Stonesplinter Trogg, 10 Stonesplinter Scout, and get 8 Trogg Stone Tooth off them.
   
   
   • Then, return to the south tower and turn in In Defense of the King's Lands and The Trogg Threat. Get the next step of In Defense of the King's Lands.
     
     
   • Afterwards, head back east to Stonesplinter Valley. Go further up the hill and kill 10 Stonesplinter Seer and 10 Stonesplinter Skullthumper.
     
     
   • Finally, return to the south tower and turn in In Defense of the King's Lands and get the next step in the chain.
     
     
3. Head north to Thelsamar. Get the Flight Path. Get all the quests available there:
   
   
   • Honor Students (Only for dwarves/gnomes - don't fly back and forth, save some time by only flying to Ironforge when the guide has you fly from Loch Modan -> Ironforge -> Westfall, and return it when the guide has you come back to Loch Modan from Westfall.)
     
   • Rat Catching
     
   • Thelsamar Blood Sausages
     
   • Mountaineer Stormpike's Task
     
   • Ironband's Excavation
     
   • Mercenaries
     
   • WANTED: Chok'sul (Group)
     
     
4. Head northwest and
   
   
   • Kill Forest Lurkers for 3 Spider Ichor.
     
   • Kill Black Bears for 3 Bear Meat.
     
   • Kill Mountain Boars for 3 Boar Intestines (you may have these from Westfall if you kept them).
     
     
5. Head north to Mountaineer Stormpike. Turn in Mountaineer Stormpike's Task and get Stormpike's Order and Filthy Paws.
   
   
6. Head north into the Silver Stream Mine. Clear your way through the Tunnel Rats and collect 12 Tunnel Rat Ears and 4 Miners' Gear.
   
   
7. Return to Mountaineer Stormpike and turn in Filthy Paws.
   
   
8. Return south to Thelsamar. Turn in:
   
   
   • Rat Catching
     
   • Thelsamar Blood Sausages

1. Head southeast to Ironband's Excavation Site. Turn in Ironband's Excavation and get the quests Gathering Idols and Excavation Progress Report.
   
   
2. Head southeast to The Farstrider Lodge. Get Crocolisk Hunting and A Hunter's Boast.
   
   
3. Head just west and kill 6 Mountain Buzzards - if you need more, there are a lot further south as well.
   
   
   • Then, return to the lodge and turn in A Hunter's Boast and get the follow-up A Hunter's Challenge.
     
     
4. Head northwest and kill 5 Elder Mountain Boars.
   
   
   • Then, return to the lodge and turn in A Hunter's Challenge and get the follow-up Vyrin's Revenge.
     
     
5. Head northwest to Bingle and turn in Find Bingles if you picked up the quest. Get Bingles' Missing Supplies.

1. Head northwest and kill Loch Crocolisks and finish collecting 5 Crocolisk Meat and 6 Crocolisk Skin.
   
   
   • Then, head northwest. Kill 10 Stonesplinter Shaman and 10 Stonesplinter Bonesnapper on the next island while gathering the tools.

5. Binigles' Wrench
   
   
6. Head southeast to Bingles and turn in Bingles' Missing Supplies.
   
   
7. Return to Thelsamar. Turn in Excavation Progress Report and get the follow-up Report to Ironforge.
