Alliance Desolace Guide Part 1
Level 36

Hearth to Ironforge and train. If you haven't picked up the quest Reclaimers' Business in Desolace earlier, pick it up now in the Hall of Explorers.

Fly to the Wetlands, and take the ship to Theramore.

Get the flight point in Theramore, then fly to Ratchet.

1. Ride west of Ratchet into the Stonetalon Mountains.

1. Get the Stonetalon Peak flight path at the northwest portion of the area.
   
   
2. Head southwest into Desolace.

1. When in Desolace, head up the path to Nijel's Point. (The entrance is a path from the southeast side - head east until you see a path upwards)
   
   Turn in Reclaimers' Business in Desolace and get the quests:
   
   
   • Centaur Bounty
   • Vahlarriel's Search
   • Reagents for Reclaimers Inc.
   • Strange Alliance
   • Down the Scarlet Path
   • The Karnitol Shipwreck

   Ignore the quest Brutal Politics.
   

2. Head southeast and kill the Hatefury Satyrs.
   
   
3. Head west to the ruined caravan and open Malem's Chest.
   
   
4. Return to Nijel's Point. Turn in Reagents for Reclaimers Inc. and Vahlarriel's Search and get the follow-ups Reagents for Reclaimers Inc. and Vahlarriel's Search. From now on, whenever you see a scorpion, kill it for Scorpashi Venom and when you see Aged Kodos kill it for Aged Kodo Hide. They are all around the zone, so just kill them as you see them - by the end of the zone, you should have collected 7 Scorpashi Venom and 3 Aged Kodo Hide.

1. Ride along the road far to the southwest and next to the tower, talk to Azore Aldamort and get the quest The Sceptre of Light.
   
   
2. Head southwest to the shore and open the chest to complete The Karnitol Shipwreck and get the follow-up The Karnitol Shipwreck. Near the chest, get the quest Claim Rackmore's Treasure from Rackmore's Log.
   
   
3. Head southwest into the ocean and kill Drysnap Pincers until you get the Rackmore's Silver Key.
   
   
4. Head northeast and kill Slitherblade Naga until you get the Rackmore's Golden Key.
   
   
5. Head onto shore and northeast to Thunder Axe Fortress.
   
   
   • To the direct left right at the entrance is a watch tower. Head up it and kill the Burning Blade Seer on the top for the Sceptre of Light.
     
     
   • Go into the main building and talk to Dalinda in the center. Turn in Vahlarriel's Search and get the follow-up Search for Tyranis.
     
     
   • Exit the building and head southwest to the other building. In the middle of this building, kill Tyranis.
     
     
   • Return to Dalinda and get the escort quest Return to Vahlarriel. Escort her out of the fortress.
     
     
6. Return northeast to Nijel's Point and turn in:
   
   
   • Return to Vahlarriel
   • The Karnitol Shipwreck and get the follow-up The Karnitol Shipwreck
